For over ten years, Roger has performed at the highest level in the world of athletics. He is respected both as an individual 400m runner and a key team member of the 4x400m relay. Above all, he is admired for his triumphs over adversity, successfully overcoming several serious injuries and setbacks, continuously striving for further self-improvement.
Roger’s skill as a communicator has led to him hosting and presented numerous television programmes including; City Hospital for the BBC, competing in the smash TV hit Strictly Come Dancing and the BBC’s sports quiz A Question of Sport.
