Kjell (pronounced ‘shell’) is based at the Institute of International Business at the Stockholm School of Economics. He received his Ph.D before helping found the prestigious Advanced Management Programme, which attracts the elite of Scandinavian business leaders. Kjell's research has focused on internationalisation. Forget dry theories, Kjell's ideas work. He makes things happen. In the real world, Kjell is on the board of directors of the Norwegian firm Stokke Fabrikker, Swedish Internet company Spray Ventures, and as the US digital change agent Razorfish. He has also advised and acted as a consultant to many other organisations across the globe.
Gurus and consultants abound. But, in a technicolour world, why do we expect men in grey suits to have all the answers? Kjell A. Nordstrom and colleague/co-author of 'Funky Business', Jonas Ridderstrale aren't your average business gurus. They don't wear suits and their ideas come in full colour. Stalking the stage, dressed in black, the two Swedes have entertained, challenged, and from time to time, frightened audiences throughout Europe and North America. Their blend of forceful logic, academic rigor and charismatic delivery have made them two of the most sought after speakers in Europe.
Funky Business: Talent makes capital dance - Forget what has come before; this is the future for organisations and leaders. We are all condemned to freedom. We cannot delegate the understanding of what drives tomorrow’s society to politicians and executives. The 'funky' future is here and now it's all up to you.
