"Out of the three general morning sessions, the most memorable was Monday's general session with Duncan Wardle… It was content-rich, he had wonderful visual examples and attendees left invigorated to start the day's activities. Wardle definitely made an impression on everyone"
IABC (International Association of Business Communicators)
Educated at Rannoch School in Scotland, Wardle joined the Disney organization almost by accident. He was standing at the school’s bulletin board to check whether he’d made the rugby team, when a picture of Mickey Mouse promoting opportunities at Walt Disney World grabbed his attention.
After a year as a student working at Disney’s lauded Epcot centre, he was invited to join the marketing group in London, working there and in Paris from 1987 until 1997 until he was called to Florida to become Director of Marketing and Public Relations.
Duncan’s presentations include; putting magic into business, motivating staff for peak performance (Disney World employs over 100,000 people), creativity, surpassing customer expectations, and branding.
